Your treatment plan will be gentle, natural and will be aimed at optimizing your fertility. We work alongside IVF, IUI, ICSI and natural cycles

Assessment
Our Naturopaths will take a look at any previous lab testing you have had done (hormones, ultrasounds, etc) and combine that with any further testing we see necessary to get the full picture. We treat clients who have unexplained infertility, PCOS, endometriosis, hormone imbalance, hypothyroid, low ovarian reserve, thin endometrial lining and sperm health issues (low counts and/or morphology). Our treatments can also be used alongside IUI, IVF, ICSI and other medical fertility treatments in Ottawa.
If no testing has been done, we may assess your hormone levels and any other markers for sub-fertility. We use either standard blood testing or urine metabolite hormone to assess the root cause of any fertility issues.
Occasionally the assessment done during our initial visit via the full health history gives us enough information to understand the probable causes of your infertility.
Whole Body Plan
The wonderful thing about gathering all of the information is that we can then understand the big picture. Our bodies are complex and each system in our body influences the other. This is especially true when it comes to hormone balance.
Our digestive system, inflammation levels, thyroid and stress hormones levels all work together in tight balance to create optimal fertility. We address and treat you with a full-spectrum approach.
When we can step back and reveal the underlying common thread between all of your symptoms, we can begin to create balance at a deep level.

Your fertility story is unique and what will work for you may be different than what might work for another couple/individual. After asking you many questions about the details of your symptoms and assessing the laboratory testing, we will create a tailored plan that will support you in ways that you need.
