A whole-person approach
Care for body, mind and energy
Stress, fatigue and old patterns don’t only live in the mind. They show up as tension, restless sleep, low energy and a body that can’t quite settle.
Acupuncture points are chosen for the patterns behind your symptoms. Energy healing, given hands-on or just above the body, supports the whole system. Somatic Experiencing helps your nervous system let go of stored stress at its own pace.

How it works
Why combine these approaches?
Acupuncture
Fine, sterile needles placed at points chosen for you. Many people find it deeply relaxing, and it’s often used alongside naturopathic care for pain, sleep, digestion, mood and energy.
Energy healing
A gentle treatment with hands resting on the body or just above it. You stay fully clothed. Many people describe feeling lighter and calmer afterward.
Somatic Experiencing
A body-based approach to the nervous system. By noticing sensation slowly, at your pace, the body can finish old stress responses and settle.
When acupuncture and energy work help the body soften, Somatic Experiencing has more room to work. As your nervous system learns to feel safe, the sessions can build on each other.
What to expect
What a session is like

- Treatment. Acupuncture, energy healing or guided Somatic Experiencing, depending on your session.
- Rest. Time for your body to take it in, often in deep relaxation.

Questions people ask us
Do I need a first naturopathic visit before a session?
Yes. Sessions follow a first naturopathic visit (75 minutes, $295), so we understand your health history and choose the right approach for you.
Does acupuncture hurt?
The needles are very fine. Most people feel a light tap or a dull, heavy sensation, and many find sessions deeply relaxing.
What does energy healing feel like?
Hands rest gently on the body or just above it. People describe warmth, tingling, heaviness or simply deep rest. You stay fully clothed.
Do I have to talk about difficult experiences in Somatic Experiencing?
No. Somatic Experiencing works with how your body is responding now. You choose what you share, and we go at your pace.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, loose clothing that rolls up above the knees and elbows.
Is it covered by insurance?
Many extended health plans cover naturopathic services, and some cover acupuncture. Receipts include the naturopathic doctor’s licence number. Check with your plan to confirm.
