What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is a unique form of primary health care that blends modern, scientific knowledge with natural forms of medicine. Treatments are completely non-invasive, utilizing natural therapies and focused on stimulating your body’s natural healing abilities. Instead of simply masking symptoms, we work together to correct the root-level cause of your imbalance.
Naturoapthic doctors undergo rigorous schooling. They begin with an undergraduate degree with specific prerequisite courses based on premedical sciences. Once is complete (3-4 years), they then complete a 4-year, full-time course in Naturopathic medicine and pass the NPLEX licensing exams. This process ensures that patient’s visiting a Naturopath are getting excellent care. Naturopathic Doctors are also required to obtain a minimum amount of continuing education credits each year.
